El vivió EN ISRAEL

Mi hermano, nació en 1946, en
Europa despues de la segunda
guerra mundial, era el hijo mayor
de mis padres.****

En 1949, cuando tenía
aproximadamente dos años y medio,
mis padres con mi hermano, llegaron
a Israel, a la ciudad de Zafed (Tzfat). ****

Al mes de la llegada, se enfermó de
"Disentería", y fue internado en el
hospital “Haemek” en la ciudad de
Afula.****

En el hospital, en esa epoca, no
permitían a los padres quedarse al
lado de sus hijos enfermos, así que
se tuvieron que ir.****

Despues de dos o tres dias informaron
a mis padres que su hijo falleció, no
hubo acto de entierro y ni siquiera
hubo una tumba.****

Mis padres eran nuevos inmigrantes,
sobrevivientes del Holocausto en
Europa, que recien habían llegado
al país y creyeron que otra vez les
ocurrió una terrible tragedia despues
de todo lo que habían pasado, y no
preguntaron nada.****

Yo nací un año y medio despues
de lo que había pasado, y cuando
crecí mis padres me contaron todo
lo que había sucedido.****

Lamentablemente, mis padres ya
no están, pero yo no creo que mi
hermano falleció y lo estoy buscando
durante años pero sin resultado.****

I.D. 02033173 , hijo de Hava y Yosef.****

En la ciudad de Afula esta anotado
que falleció en 17.04. 1949 y está
enterrado en una tumba compartida
con más gente, que es algo muy
extraño.****

En el Ministerio del Interior me
informaron que una persona con
ese nombre se fue de Israel en 1963.****

Yo todavia tengo la esperanza que
alguien, al leer esta carta, tenga algún
recuerdo de un niño que fue adoptado
a los dos años y medio, rubio con ojos
claros, que hablaba solamente en “Idish”.

Seguramente le contaron a el, o a
la persona que lo adopt╢, que el
está solo y que no se sabe nada de
sus padres. ****

Hoy debe tener aproximadamente
65-66 años.****

Junto a esta carta, mando fotografías
de mi hermano con mis padres cuando
era un bebe, antes que vinieron a
Israel.****

Lamentablemente, no tengo
fotografías de la epoca que
desapareció, pero quizas este mail
llegue a el y despierte algun
recuerdo de sus padres.****

My name is Hanan Shomrony and I’m
searching for my brother, ISRAEL
HAIVENTERGER,(Hejventreger)
SON OF HAVA AND YOSEF-

He was born in 1946 , his parents’
first born, in **Europe** after the
Second World War. In 1949, when
he was two and a half years old,
he and his parents made "aliya"
(EMIGRATED) to Zfat [ Safed ]
in ****Israel****.

He was hospitalized a month later
in the " Emek Hospital" in Afula
because of "dysentery". Two days
later my father was informed that
he had passed away. ( Parents were
not allowed to stay with their sick
children, so my father was obliged
to leave him there.) ****

There was no funeral and of course
there is no grave. ****

My parents were new immigrants,
survivors of the "Holocaust", who
had arrived only one month prior
to this.
They accepted this news without
question and didn’t make any
further inquiries. ****

The Ministry of the Interior informed
me, years later, that in 1963 someone
with his ID number had left the
country. However, in the Death
Registry of the Religious Council in
Afula he is registered as having died
in 17.04.1949 and was buried in a
common grave. ****

His first name was "Israel" , the son
of Hava and Yosef Heiventreager
(Hejventreger)(sp) I.D. nr 0203317-3.

It is possible that his first name
stayed with him as he was already
two and a half years old at the time. ****

I was born six months later and
know of him only from what my
parents had told me. Unfortunately,
my parents have passed away and
the searches that I have been
carrying on during the years have
never provided any answers.

I still hope that this story will
awaken a spark of a memory in
someone of a baby that was adopted
at the age of two and a half, blond
with bright eyes that spoke only
Yiddish.

He or those who adopted him were
probably told that he was an orphan
brought from "Europe".

He would be 65 or 66 years old today. ****

I enclose pictures of him as an infant
with our parents before coming to
"Israel". I regret that I don’t have
any pictures of a later period.

Perhaps this mail will, by some stroke
of luck , be received by someone who
will recognize or will find similarities
in the faces of our parents and
that of "Israe".

Please forward to this mail to
anyone you can. Perhaps a miracle
will happen and I’ll be reunited with
my long lost brother.****

Il est né en 1946 en Europe après la

Mes parents étaient de nouveaux
immigrants, rescapés de l'holocauste
et qui se trouvaient en Israël depuis
un mois seulement lorsque tout ceci
arriva.

Ils reçurent la nouvelle du décès
sans poser de question et ne firent
aucune enquête à ce sujet. ****

Quelques années plus tard, je fus
informé par le Ministère de l'Intérieur
qu'une personne portant le même n
uméro d'identité que mon frère, avait
quitté le pays en 1963. Cependant, au
registre des personnes décédées du
Conseil religieux de Afula , il était
porté comme décédé en 17.04.1949
et enterré dans une fosse commune.****

Il se nommait "Israel", fils de Hava
et Yosef Hejventreger. I.D. 0203317-3

Ilest possible qu'il ait gardé son
prénom car il était âgé de 2 ans et d
emi quand tout ceci est arrivé.****

Je naquis 6 mois plus tard et ne
sait de lui que ce que mes parents
m'ont raconté. Malheureusement
mes parents sont décédés et les
recherches que j'ai entreprises
pendant des années n'ont pas a
bouti. J'ai toujours l'espoir que
cette histoire puisse réveiller la m
émoire de quelqu'un qui était un
bébé de 2 ans et demi quand il fut
adopté.

Il était blond et parlait seulement
yiddish. Ceux qui l'ont adopté
pensaient sûrement qu'il s'agissait
d'un orphelin venant d'Europe.

Aujourd'hui, Il devrait avoir 65-66 ans.****

Je joins des photos de lui prises avec
mes parents avant qu'ils ne viennent
en Israël. Je regrette de ne pas avoir
de photos de lui quand il avait 2
ans et demi. Il se pourrait que par
chance quelqu'un se souvienne ou
reconnaisse les visages de nos
parents et de l'enfant Israel.****

בעפולה מימי קום המדינה

אֶת אָחי אָנֹכִי מְבַקֵּשׁ

שמי חנן שומרוני, ואני מחפש את אחי.

הוא נולד ב 1946, בן בכור להורי, באירופה לאחר מלחמת העולם השניה, ובשנת 1949 כשהיה בן שנתיים וחצי בערך, עלו ההורים איתו לישראל, לצפת.

הוא אושפז כחודש לאחר שהגיעו בבית חולים "העמק" בעפולה בגלל דיזנטריה, ומאחר שלא איפשרו אז להורים להשאר ליד מיטתו, נאלץ אבי להשאירו שם. כשחזר לבית החולים לאחר יומיים, נאמר לו כי הילד נפטר ונקבר.

לא נערכה הלוויה ואין כמובן קבר.

הורי היו אז עולים חדשים, ניצולי שואה שהגיעו רק כחודש ימים קודם לכן מאירופה, והם קיבלו את המידע באמונה שלמה ולא שאלו דבר.

בפנקס הנפטרים של המועצה הדתית בעפולה, נרשם כי נפטר ב 17 באפריל 1949 ונקבר
בקבר אחים (?)

אך ממשרד הפנים נמסר לפני שנים כי ב- 1963 עזב אדם הנושא את אותו שם ואותו מס' ת.ז. את הארץ.
במשטרת הגבולות נמסר לי שהרישומים מושמדים לאחר עשר שנים, ואין דרך לדעת לאן ואם אכן עזב.

שמו הפרטי היה "ישראל", (בן חוה ויוסף הייבנטרגר מס' ת.ז.0203317-3 ) ויתכן שדוקא שמו הפרטי נשמר מכיוון שכבר היה בן שנתיים וחצי.

אני נולדתי חצי שנה לאחר מכן, והכרתי אותו רק מסיפורים ששמעתי מהורי.

למרבה הצער הורי כבר הלכו לעולמם, והחיפושים שאני עורך במשך שנים לא העלו דבר.

אני עדיין מקווה שהסיפור הזה יעורר במישהו ניצוץ של זכרון אודות ילד שאומץ בגיל שנתיים וחצי, בלונדיני עם עיניים בהירות, שדיבר רק יידיש....

כנראה נאמר לו או למי שאימץ אותו, שהילד הובא מאירופה לאחר המלחמה ללא הורים, ואין כל מידע על גורלם.

הוא אמור להיות היום בן 65 או 66 .

אני מצרף תמונות שלו עם אבי ועם אמי מתקופת היותו תינוק, לפני שעלו לארץ.

לצערי אין כל תמונוה שלו מתקופה מאוחרת יותר, אבל אולי המייל הזה יגיע במקרה גם אליו ולמראה התמונות יתעורר בו זכרון רחוק של פני אחד ההורים.
