nigeriana, decidí que era necesario registrarlo en
este Blog, que disfruta de tantas visitas.
Es una manera de difundirla.

Les recomiendo dedicar 18 minutos de su tiempo y sumergirse en esta reflexión de la escritora nigeriana Chimamanda Adichie sobre el peligro de contar una sola historia, o como decimos los periodistas un solo enfoque de la verdad. Me recordó a un filósofo que nos hacían leer en la universidad que insistía en que "lo pequeño es hermoso", Chimamanda reinvindica esas cotidianas historias que dignifican un pueblo, y se aleja de las historias únicas que "crean estereotipos, dificultan el reconocimiento de nuestra igualdad humana y enfatiza nuestras diferencias, en vez de nuestras similitudes".

¿Alguna similitud con la realidad nuestra? sin duda, y además un encasillamiento de ambos bandos a contar una sola historia, pero una de las frases de esta escritora que más me impactó fue cuando reitera que "un pueblo prospera a pesar de su gobierno y no por causa de él", y creo que esa prosperidad tiene que ver con contar las muchas historias de vida desde lo pequeño, lo cotidiano, recuperar esas historias -como dice Chimamanda- "es entrar al paraíso". No tiene pérdida..Gracias por enviarlo.
